Welcome to the Ramsey Park Hotel, the luxurious contemporary hotel set in one of the most scenic parts of the Isle of Man.
Situated beside Mooragh Lake, and with views over the sea towards Cumbria, Ramsey Park makes a stunning setting for your stay on the Island.
The Lake View Restaurant serves bistro-style lunches and dinners, with snacks available in the Piano Bar.
The Ramsey Park Hotel has 60 en-suite bedrooms, including 3 interconnecting double bedrooms, 2 spacious Family Suite and an Executive Suite.
All have been individually designed to a very high standard, with super king-sized beds in each room. Each room has a 32″ TVs with UK Freeview channels, complimentary high-speed WI-FI for your laptop and other mobile devices, a complimentary hospitality tray and toiletries.
Many of our bedrooms overlook the beautiful Mooragh Lake and Sky Hill. Other bedrooms overlook the Ramsey promenade and Irish Sea Coastline with views right across to Scotland and Cumbria.
Itinerary
Day 1 We depart from South Yorkshire and make our way to Liverpool, where we'll board the ferry for a scenic journey to the Isle of Man. Once arriving at Douglas it is only about 40 minutes to our hotel in Ramsey. Thw ferry takes approximately 2h45mins.
Day 2 (Full Day Excursion)
Join us on an unforgettable adventure as we board the Manx Electric Railway in Ramsey for a scenic journey to the charming village of Laxey. Upon arrival, we'll hop onto the historic Snaefell Mountain Railway, which will take us up to the summit of Snaefell Mountain. From the top, you'll be treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the Isle of Man, making this a truly memorable experience. After soaking in the scenery, we'll make our descent and return to Ramsey for free time.
Day 3 Free Day to relax at the hotel or explore more of the Isle of Man on your own
Day 4 (Full Day Excursion)
Todays included coach excursions offer a perfect blend of scenic beauty and rich history. Begin your day exploring the charming village of Port Erin, where the heart of the community thrives around Station Road and Church Road, lined with inviting shops, cafes, and bars. The village stretches along a picturesque horseshoe-shaped bay, offering stunning views out to the Mountains of Mourne in Northern Ireland, beyond the striking Bradda Head. Later, we'll visit Castletown, the ancient capital of Mann, where you can wander through narrow, winding streets, admire the quaint fishing cottages along the harbour, and explore the imposing Viking castle that stands guard over the town. On our return journey, we'll make a delightful stop at Peel Beach, allowing you to enjoy a coffee break while soaking in the serene coastal views.
Day 5 - (Half Day Excursion)
Today we have included a half- day excursion to the vibrant town of Douglas, the capital of the Isle of Man. Here, you'll have some free time to explore at your leisure—whether it's a stroll along the scenic promenade, a visit to the Manx Museum, or some last-minute shopping in the town's charming boutiques. Upton returning to Ramsey, you have free time before dinner.
Day 6 After checking out of the hotel, we return to the ferry fort before we board the return ferry to Liverpool. We continue our journey to South Yorkshire returning home late afternoon/early evening
